Our unlimited learning packages are designed specifically with the needs of Care Organisations in mind. Many years of experience and feedback from clients has enabled what we think is the best solution for CQC Related Staff Training. We try to make life easier.
Our methodology values prior learning, saving time

Our methodology is simple, but very effective, it works like this: Know, Understand and Do. One of the reasons it is so effective is because of its simplicity...
Know: In order to do their job safely staff need a certain amount of knowledge
Understand: they also need to understand what that knowledge means in practice and how to apply it.
Do: then they actually put it into practice.
We talk about this in more detail in this blog post: Care Certificate Assessors
The principle being is that if you can build an evidence portfolio that proves that a member of staff already has the knowledge they need to do their job safely AND they put into practice, why on earth would train then again on something they already know and do???
Accessibility settings including 100+ languages
Learning when English is not your first language or if you have Dyslexia, just adds to the challenge, so all of our learning and assessments can be translated into different languages to support with comprehension and understanding.
Furthermore, Click can also be rendered in different background colours, different fonts, including a specialist font to support people with dyslexia, the text can be read aloud and much much more.

All of our courses are specially written for the social care sector, so we don’t talk about patients and you won't find pictures of doctors. Social Care has always been our focus and always will be.

There are literally thousands of providers using Click across England and Wales. Every single one of our customers has been inspected multiple times and many of our customers have outstanding ratings with CQC.
We are particularly proud of this inspection report - “a culture of continuous learning”
Proven to reduce staff turnover and improve CQC ratings
The inspection report above is a great example, but a different customer Guinness Care and Support were able to reduce their staff turnover to single digits, just 8%, by using Click to support their Care Certificate assessors to build robust portfolios of competence.
They also use Click to support their learners to be successful in those first and vital 12 weeks.
Established 15 years - we know what works
We have been supporting the social care sector since 2006 and as a result we have learnt loads along the way. We are always grateful to our customers for sharing their feedback and enabling us to develop Click to meet their needs.
Some of Clicks best features have been developed from customer suggestions and input and we are always happy to listen...
Skills for Care Centre of Excellence & CPD Certification
Many of our courses are CPD certified and all of our courses come with Skills Centre of Excellence accreditation. We know we are the only provider that has been in the sector as long as we have.
No hidden charges and you can recycle licences
Our ethics and values include transparency and openness, so we have always published our pricing on our website, you can see it here.
Just as the title suggests we don’t have any hidden charges, it really is what you see on the pricing page.
Recycling licences has been of our licencing since the very beginning, we know that staff turnover is a challenge and so our licencing is set up so that our customers are not penalised when people leave. We tend to describe it like this:
If you have 23 staff and you expect to usually have about 23 staff, you will only ever need 24 or 25 licences with us. It is always worth having a couple of spares… Even if 10 people leave during the year, if you still have 23 staff your monthly invoice with us will remain the same. We do this so that budgeting is straightforward...
Training Matrix or Learning Matrix?
However, one of the things that CQC often asks to see is the training matrix, despite regulation being very clear about the principle of competence. I suspect that this is because it is a speedy way for establishing the compliance health of a business in a single view.

One of the things we talk about in Module 5 “Leading and Managing the Inspection Process” is “practising confidence” with staff, because we want them to answer the questions that CQC ask of them, with confidence (obviously). There are many ways to do this and perhaps we will talk about some of them in future posts, but I really want to focus on how we can use supervision to increase the confidence of staff. We all know that, if staff are confident, it will be reflected in their practice, how they deal with situations and therefore the lives of the people we support.

How can we help?
