You can’t run a care business without the Care Certificate; well you could but it would be much harder.

It is much easier to find a business with an “outstanding” CQC rating; who wants to place their relative in a setting which requires improvement or inadequate?  All CQC ratings are publicly available and you must display your rating clearly as well, even if it is poor.

This is why we blogged about “outstanding log", "requires improvement to outstanding" and "never stop the prep".  Outstanding is a mindset and when you create that in your staff, it becomes infectious!
